YS EQUITY, an initiative supported by the Yellow Springs Community Foundation, is launching in Fall 2022 and the first cohort will provide 15 residents of Yellow Springs and Miami Township with $300 each month over a period of 24 months ($7,200 in total per individual). YS EQUITY will be the second guaranteed income program in Ohio and the first documented program in a village in the United States. The goal will be to add 15 more residents in 2023 with a sustainable 30 residents in the following years.

Beautiful Glen Helen — home to the Yellow Spring — welcomes visitors to its 15-mile trail system for exploration and inspiration. Owned and operated by the Glen Helen Association since September 2020, the Glen provides life-shaping environmental learning programs through the Outdoor Education Center, one of the first facilities of its kind. Its Raptor Center rehabilitates hawks, eagles, and owls, with the goal of releasing birds for a second chance at life in the wild. Roads to Recovery is a parent founded, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization serving families in the greater Dayton area who are impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders. We have been an ODE approved Ohio Autism Scholarship Provider since our founding in 2009. Our centers provide prepared therapy/educational space for individualized educational programs. Roads to Recovery also offers free parent/professional continuing educational workshops along with free family fun events for special needs children and their siblings. Founded in 1990 by citizens in Yellow Springs and Miami township, Tecumseh Land Trust is a nonprofit conservation organization serving Greene and Clark Counties of Ohio and surrounding areas. The purpose of Tecumseh Land Trust is to preserve agricultural land, natural areas, water resources, and historic sites, in voluntary cooperation with landowners, and to educate the public about permanent land preservation.
The Antioch School offers child-centered programs for nursery, kindergarten, and traditional grade school ages in mixed-age groups, the Younger Group (approximately 6-9 years old), and the Older Group (approximately 9-12 years old). Through the generosity of Antioch, the Yellow Springs community, and countless volunteers, the Riding Centre has been able to offer lessons, therapeutic riding, and day camps to the Miami Valley at an affordable cost for over 50 years. Facilities include two barns, rolling pastures, a large outdoor ring, a lighted indoor ring, a cross-country hunt course, several wooded trails, outdoor shelters for the horses, and stables.

The Village of Yellow Springs' program YS Utility Round-up, which provides for residents to voluntarily round up their utility bills and/or make a direct donation to the program. WYSO 91.3FM began broadcasting with 10 watts of power on February 8, 1958 as a student-run station on the campus of Antioch College. We were on the air four hours a day back then with local public affairs and music programming. Today we broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week with 50,000 watts of power and we reach twelve counties in Southwest Ohio with a potential audience of more than one million. WYSO also broadcasts in HD, we stream our programming live on our website, and our stories are available on NPR One. Many of our programs are also available as podcasts. WYSO is the Miami Valley's only NPR News station, and we carry their flagship programs, including Morning Edition and All Things Considered. The Yellow Springs Community Children's Center (YSCCC) has a long history of educating children in Yellow Springs. Opening as The Community Nursery School in 1926 it was one of the first two in Ohio and was eighteenth in the country.
Mission: The Yellow Springs Community Food Pantry provides food and other consumables to residents of Yellow Springs, Miami Township and Clifton. Your donation will be helpful in increasing support for the Pantry's vital work addressing food insecurity.
Contributions to the Yellow Springs Public School Fund (YSPSF) are used to provide teachers and students with experiential learning opportunities that are not often possible within the district's normal operating budget. For example, YSPSF funds are currently being used to support international service learning trips for students and professional learning experiences for teachers. This project celebrates the launch of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope and looks ahead to the next 20 years in cosmology as a time full of discovery and promise.

Yellow Springs Youth Baseball, Inc. provides a supervised program of competitive baseball during the summer months for local youth ages 7-14. Approximately 100 local boys and girls participate each year in two different leagues: a coach-pitch league for younger players and a player-pitch league for older players. The Yellow Springs Youth Orchestra Association (YSYOA) has been providing support for music opportunities in the village since 1965. The Youth Orchestra Program was founded by cellist Shirley Mullins and the late violinist Mary Schumacher. Although it originally centered on school-aged children, today the focus has broadened to include the larger community, providing venues for people of all ages to share and enjoy music together.
The Yellow Springs Dog Park is now open! There has been a constant flow of dogs and handlers enjoying the park every day since the October soft opening. The YS Dog Park fundraising goal is to build the endowment fund to $120,000 so that the park's future is secure. We currently have around $15,000 in the endowment fund, with a little help from all of our friends we can meet our goal. Their programs include: TRANSPORTATION to drive Seniors to doctors’ appointments and coordinating a grocery delivery program HOMEMAKING designed to enable Seniors to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment and stay in their homes longer SUPPORT SERVICES assisting individuals with questions and concerns including Medicare and insurance ACTIVITIES including exercise and movement classes, language lessons, card game groups, and more There are many opportunities for community members to volunteer and volunteers annually give more than 3,800 hours of service.
