Through the generosity of Antioch, the Yellow Springs community, and countless volunteers, the Riding Centre has been able to offer lessons, therapeutic riding, and day camps to the Miami Valley at an affordable cost for over 50 years. Facilities include two barns, rolling pastures, a large outdoor ring, a lighted indoor ring, a cross-country hunt course, several wooded trails, outdoor shelters for the horses, and stables.

WYSO
WYSO 91.3. Our community. Our nation. Our world.
WYSO 91.3FM began broadcasting with 10 watts of power on February 8, 1958 as a student-run station on the campus of Antioch College. We were on the air four hours a day back then with local public affairs and music programming. Today we broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week with 50,000 watts of power and we reach twelve counties in Southwest Ohio with a potential audience of more than one million. WYSO also broadcasts in HD, we stream our programming live on our website, and our stories are available on NPR One. Many of our programs are also available as podcasts. WYSO is the Miami Valley's only NPR News station, and we carry their flagship programs, including Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

Since 1959, the Yellow Springs Senior Citizens Center has focused on meeting the needs of people 55 and older in Yellow Springs and Miami Township. Located in its own building in the Yellow Springs business district, the Center is governed by a 9-member board of trustees, elected by the membership. A part-time director, a part-time financial assistant, and several part-time staff members provide services and manage and oversee programs. Volunteers give more than 3,800 hours of service per year in support of seniors in the community.
